Quirino IIMT @ WORK... only in the Philippines
The Quirino Inter-Institutional Management Team (IIMT), function as the core working group that implements collaborative Community-based Forest Management and relevant Forest and Forest Land Management Plans and Programs of Quirino Province...Due to the huge environmental management demands in Quirino Province, the IIMT include not only ensuring the sustainability in the implementation of Collabotative CBFM, but also to ensure integration, harmonization and collaborative implementation of relevant Forest and Forest Land Management of the Province.
The IIMT composed of the following agencies:
- DENR (PENRO and CENRO - Diffun & Nagtipunan)
- Provincial Local Government Unit - PPDO, PEO
- CFFQI -
- MLGU - Diffun, Cabarroguis, Aglipay, Maddela and NAgtipunan (5 MENRO's)
- NCIP
- PO Federation - QSEED, Bugkalot and Agtas
- NGO's - EWW, EcoGov, CI-Philippines

Go green..... Province of Quirino Region 02, Philippines...
The province of Quirino, in Region 02, Philippines has four major watersheds, namely: Upper Cagayan watershed (biggest), Addalem watershed, Ganano watershed and Dumatata watershed. The biggest which is Upper Cagayan in terms of area has more than 40 economically important micro-watersheds that are seriously blighted with hot spots within sub-watersheds. Water drained from the watersheds is vital to the agriculture sector, among others, supporting communal irrigation systems of its service areas in the municipalities covered. Quirino Province through the Community Forestry Foundation of Quirino, Inc. (CFFQI) in close partnership with other stakeholders shall be guided in addressing the needs of the upland communities of sustaining a watershed management program through community organizing, agro-forestry farming and various livelihood support activities. Livelihood programs have been proven to be the critical element in poverty reduction. Partner agencies in the implementation of the action are the Municipal and Provincial local government units, Offices of the PPDO and MPDO, Local Environment Officers, DENR, DTI, NIA, NCIP, MAO and POs in a tight working partnership.

theres a place for everyone!
In this blog i want to share it to those people who thinks that life sometimes is unfair! but i tell you in the end in your heart you'll find the answer...
Haven't we noticed that what we do sometimes reflects our personality.?...We loose, we struggle, we dis-appoint someone, we commit mistakes, we laugh, we cry, we sacrifice for the sake of others, but in the end its nothing....
Isn't it ironic that yesterday we talked much, mingled with one another, share thoughts then suddenly hes gone....
There's a place for everyone because what we plant today, is what we reap in a proper time...
